Scope
2024 aluminum alloy belongs to the Al-Cu-Mg series aluminum alloy.This is a high-strength hard aluminum that can be heat-treated and strengthened It has moderate plasticity in the quenched and freshly quenched states.It has good spot welding.It has a tendency to form intergranular cracks when gas welding is used. The cutting performance is good,and the machinabilityafter annealing is low:the corrosion resistance is not high.Anodizing treatment and painting methods are often used or the surface is coated with aluminum to improve its corrosion resistance.
Application
2024 h112 aluminum sheet plate are mainly used to make various high-load parts and components(but not including stamping parts and forgings) such as fuselage structurals, wing tension members, shear webs and ribs, precision fittings, truck wheels and parts for transportation.
